The University opens its doors to prospective students (15/04/2010)

Cartagena Polytechnic University has organized an Open Day scheduled for next Wednesday 28 April, to which are invited all students from secondary schools and high schools in the region, as well as their parents and teachers.

Students will be received at 16.00 hours in the University Residence Alberto Colao, where they give different information and training materials.

Following a talk will be informed of the new format of the entrance examinations to the University (selectivity).

The directors of each of the Centers made a presentation of academic offerings and extracurricular taught in each of them, and after 18.30 h.

will be a visit to the three campuses, in which each student will choose to meet their personal preferences on the spot where they could pursue their studies in the future.

The Vice Chancellor for Students, Francisco Martínez notes that "Open Day is open a channel of communication with prospective students and their parents to show from within the university reality."

It adds that "next year, with the full implementation of degree titles, the new students in the UPCT be fully trained to professional exercise of their powers in Europe."
