The largest of Isla Plana have seen today have satisfied their demands for a room with enough space to develop their activities.
The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by the Social Care council, Antonio Calderon, and Decentralization, Nicolás Ángel Bernal, has opened new facilities in more than 100 square meters, located on the ground floor of the Primary Care Clinic.
The new facility replaces an old rented locally, about 15 square meters.
The budget for the refurbishment of new premises was around 90,000 euros, in which are included masonry and siding, electrical, plumbing, furniture, air conditioning and audiovisual equipment.
The new store features a large multipurpose room, an office, a workshop room and two toilets and a space intended for a small canteen run by the partners themselves.
The activities will be adult education, gerontogimnasia, crafts, talks and games, among others.
