The council of La Palma yesterday celebrated the feast of Santa Florentina with a procession that ran in the evening the streets of the council of Cartagena, where he was received by many residents who wanted to participate in this celebration and that was also attended by the Councillor Festivities, Florentina Garcia Vargas.
In the morning, the church of Santa Florentina hosted a Mass in honor of the patron and the neighbors also held the dance of vermouth and a meal, during which he gave the Palme d'Or Juan Moreno Alfaro.
After the procession, a large fireworks display put the finishing touches on the festive day dedicated to Santa Florentina.
In La Palma festivals continue throughout the week until Sunday 28 March, which is hosting the Great Pilgrimage and Folk Show.
