With the conclusion of this cloister, UPCT wanted to make clear its commitment, through its highest representative body, with equality between women and men, as emphasized the rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Felix Faure.
During the meeting, the Commissioner of the Rector for equality between women and men, María Dolores de Miguel, announced the establishment of the Equality Commission of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, which will ensure effective equality between men and women as a means to a more tolerant society that will aim to draw up an Equality Plan UPCT.
Miguel María Dolores recalled during the UPCT Senate has made over the last year numerous activities to raise awareness and educate in the values of equality between women and men.
The Equality Commission UPCT chaired by María Dolores de Miguel, consists of fifteen members of the university community.
