The Association of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE) and groups of Communist Youth Cartagena (UJCE) from Cartagena, participate in the demonstration called by the CCOO and UGT on 5 March, against the delay in the retirement age and reform pensions.

Cartagena Communists believe that "these demonstrations throughout the country should serve as a powerful warning to those who try to leave the capitalist crisis by cutting workers' rights."

"We must stop the neoliberal offensive, the pension reform is the straw that broke the camel, it's time to go out," says Miguel Vidal, Regional Secretary of the PCE.
