Today it has been delivered to the Spanish Association against Cancer a check for $ 2,000.
This act has been possible thanks to the solidarity and the sport that merged in the eighth edition of the Ordnance Cross on 29 November 2009.
This entity will use the money to prevention campaigns, counseling and promotion of volunteerism.
In presenting the check, which took place this morning at the Museum of Artillery, were present Colonel Chief Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment 73, Patricio Fogores, lapresidenta of the Association Against Cancer in Cartagena, María Rosa Rosillo and Councilman Sports, Alonso Gómez López.
We must emphasize the charitable status of the Cross of Artillery, with the initiative of the organization to provide the amount of 1 euro per participant and intended use, in this case, the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
