The new map of the west offers trails, climbing areas and dive sites (04/02/2010)

The new map of the west has different tourism resources such as paths, climbing and diving spots.

In this first edition was commissioned by the City of Cartagena thousand copies submitted to the Office of Tourism and Municipal Services Institute of Western Coast.

The Councillor for Tourism, Javier Herrero, and Director of Municipal Services Institute of the Coast, Gabriel Ruiz, presented the plan Active tourism resources of the area west of Cartagena.

Javier Smith explained that the presentation is intended to develop tourist attractions that the environment of Sierra de la Muela and Cape Tiñoso, as to matters of active and nature tourism.

The council has also reported the enhancement of the signaling that is taking place in the eight trails in the area that can be driven in one day.

Smith explained that they have a march of 10 000 steps with the name from church to church to connect the nuclei of the Azohía and Isla Plana.
