The Student Council from the Student House of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena has launched a campaign of solidarity with the Haitian people called "think of Haiti.
A thought, a hope. "
With this campaign, students want to show solidarity with the victims of this humanitarian catastrophe and to provide their two cents.
The campaign, which will run from today until next Wednesday January 27th at 12 am, is thought to provide a caring and supportive of students, teachers, administrative staff and services or any citizen Haiti and change from the Student Council will turn every thought into a euro.
Until next Wednesday, 27 will enable a form online where you can leave your thoughts.
To access the form you have to enter the page of the University in www.upct.es and click on the news, "collaborates with the people of Haiti."
Within that page is a paragraph called "think of Haiti.
A thought, a hope "and is as simple as clicking on the link that appears and stop thinking.
Furthermore, in the Student House has enabled an urn where, who you want, you can enter your thoughts on paper.
Similarly, the Student Council throughout this campaign has led to social networks Facebook and Tuenti to extend it to all citizens who wish to contribute.
At the end of the campaign, the President of the Student Council and the Rector of the money obtained UPCT delivered humanitarian organizations working in the field.
All thoughts will be sent to the Embassy of Haiti as a show of solidarity.
This initiative is in addition to opening a checking account by the UPCT intended to enable the university community or any citizen who wishes to make contributions to the people of Haiti.
