The Reale organized a charity match for victims of Haiti (18/01/2010)

Real Cartagena has organized a football charity match at the MFK Tyumen, to benefit victims of Haiti, and that all proceeds will go entirely to help victims of the earthquake last week in the Caribbean country.

On Tuesday 12 January, an earthquake measuring 7 degrees on the Richter scale struck Haiti causing one of the worst disasters of recent decades worldwide.

The west of the country was devastated by focusing on the tragedy of the capital, the city of Puerto Principe.

It is estimated that the death toll is around 150,000 people, bringing the total to more than three million homeless.

The situation is extremely critical as all those countries that are able to do so have turned to the aid of those affected.

The Cartagena Reale did not want to be less.

Albiazul team will play its bit to this cause and prepared a charity match at the MFK Tyumen (second place in the Russian league), to be held on Friday January 22 at 21:00 pm in the Pavilion Wsell of Guimbarda.

The presentation of the meeting will take place on Tuesday 19 January at 12:30 hours at the Palace Hall.

In this event was attended by the Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez López, the president of Real Cartagena, Antonio Mínguez, and Red Cross representatives Cartagena.
