Improvement of public lighting in Slum Pain and Latin America (23/12/2009)

The City, through the Department of the Delegation of District 3, has completed the renovation of public lighting installation at Los Dolores, in the east, the Slum oestey in Latin America.

As reported by the mayor José María Gutiérrez Roca, these works have included the placement of a total of 95 new points of light, 89 of them of 150 watts and the remaining 6 250 watt.

Tonight will be the commissioning of this new facility, which will improve the lighting on San Pedro Street, the stretch between San Pedro Street and Calle Pedro Juan, Calle Juan Cap, Calle San Cristobal, the stretch between San Pedro Street and Calle San Cristóbal and the Pyrenees Calles, Juan Gutierrez, Transformer, Wall, Smiley, Holy Trinity, San Leandro and San Fulgencio, todoas the eastern sector.

In the west the streets have benefited the Rio Ebro, Guadalquivir River, Bishop, Ballester, Luis Ceron, Júcar and Guadiana River.

For its part, the new points of view of the Barrio Latin America are in the streets: Vilaplana, Monta Gut and Montblanc.

All these points of lights are connected to different command centers existing and one new facility, located it in Calle transformer.

All this performance represents an investment of EUR 193,670 funded by Inversiones plan in districts and councils of the years 2008 and 2009.
