The First Conference on Modernization of Human Resources organized by the municipality of Cartagena, have started today with the opening of the same, which has been borne by the Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte.
Among the participants, hundreds of technicians and personnel managers from different municipalities in the region have gathered to attend the conference to be held between today and Thursday in the Hall of CAM in the High Street.
Throughout the morning papers have been developed on the Career and Performance Evaluation of the Status of Public Employees, by José Vicente Cortes, General Coordinator of Government Areas of the City of Castellón, and the State Modernization of Human Resources in the municipalities of the Region of Murcia, José Serrano, Head of Human Resources of the City of Cartagena, as speaker.
This afternoon, after a visit to ARQUA and needed lunch break, will resume the conference with a presentation on Training and New Prospects for Human Resource Management, headed by the Director General Staff of the City of Cartagena, Esperanza Nieto.
On Thursday 12 November will be two presentations on Personnel Selection and the Basic Statute for Civil Servants, with Miguel Sánchez Morón, Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Alcalá de Henares, and Elizabeth Belmonte, Senior Local Government of the Autonomous Community Region of Murcia, respectively, these first days ending with the closure by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, at 14.00 hours.
The City of Cartagena is a pioneer in organizing conferences on this theme, creating a forum that was created as a permanent in the future and aims to start talking instead of Human Resources personnel management by introducing their own systems of Private companies, such as motivation, lacarrera professional training and the Basic Statute for Civil Servants (ebete).
