Lack of concrete projects for restoration and rehabilitation of Cartagena Amphitheater and Old Cathedral has led the Ministry of Culture ends with draw from the General State Budget for 2010, budget allocations for it.
These amounts had already been reduced in the PGE of the two previous years for the same reason
Cartagena UPyD criticizes the failure of the Regional Government, the governing structure of the City of Cartagena and the Bishopric in the drafting of projects necessary for the granting of the aid in question.
From Cartagena UPyD intend to avoid situations like this, now known, to make agreements with public universities in the region that will make possible their ideas and technical advice for the drafting of these and other projects, ensuring at least reasonable proposals, that can be supported with the budget.
Likewise, Cartagena UPyD want to report it until the budgets are not distributed equally among citizens, you can not achieve the same level of development in different regions of the Autonomous Community.
