This Thursday, November 12, the campaign arrives in Cartagena, 'Come and Planting Life', that drive 40Principales trees and the Foundation + (F + A), with the aim of starting the green belt and reduce carbon dioxide emissions through planting 40 million trees on the peninsula.
This activity has the support of the Directorate General of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control from the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, the City of Cartagena, the neighborhood council of births among many other collaborations and business partnerships.
Alum is the place chosen to carry out this initiative in response to a social demand to create a green belt in this location.
500 trees will be planted next to the football field and will start at 11.00 hours until 14.00 hours, which will feature local and regional authorities as well as leading representatives of the society of Cartagena, children's school Alumbres , neighbors, associations and Top 40 music to liven up the morning with live radio.
Foundation + trees is one of the organizations most actively involved in the Plant for the Planet campaign, promoted by the Programme United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

Come and Planting Life Top 40 Cartagena wants to continue his involvement in caring for the environment, responding to the need to spread the new wave of environmental thinking in the face of new generations.
The campaign, developed the months of October and November, has a duration of 42 days and stops in Cartagena for the start of an experience which will be repeated with new tree plantations in areas of greatest need.
The axis of action would be a trailer stage with an interactive exhibition inside.
Through this exhibition the public will know the process of reforestation of the forest, native of Spain, the process of life of a tree planting techniques, among others.
There will be tents with activities of the sponsors and local partners, highlighting the activity of the F + A, nende DANGO: The most efficient method of reforestation that is to sow seeds of trees and shrubs wrapped in balls of clay.
