Rafaelito, Irene, Troja, Roses and Fulgencio del Pozo, pasodobles finalists of Pozo Estrecho (04/11/2009)

The Association of Amas de Casa 'San Fulgencio' Well Strait, with the collaboration of the Culture Department of the City of Cartagena, organizes once again the eighteenth Music Composition Contest Pasodobles 'Villa de Pozo Estrecho', the winner is will be released on Saturday, January 30 at a gala at the Civic Center this council, where you can enjoy listening to the five finalists selected.

This is Rafaelito, Irene, Troja, Roses and Fulgencio del Pozo, whose order of interpretation is established by public drawing at the beginning of the act.

Of these five, the jury will choose the winner of the first prize amounting to 3,000 euros, having also established a second prize of 900 euros, and a third prize of 300 euros.

Remarkably, there have been a total of 48 works, from different countries worldwide.

The farthest was from Australia, although there have been pasodobles of Italy, France, Lithuania, Finland, Germany, Venezuela, as well as from across the country, such as Andalucia and Barcelona.

In presenting the program of events for the final stage of this competition have been the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, president of the Association of Amas de Casa 'San Fulgencio' Well, Marisol Perez, and the president of the Association Pozo Estrecho Neighbors and a member of the Musical Art Society Santa Cecilia, Ginesa Zamora.

Contest Well pasodobles Strait comes of age, with a success that exceeded all expectations, reaching compositions worldwide, making it possible to include melodies indigenous to the area, which further enrich this traditional Spanish music, Rosario Montero noted.
