University Hospital Santa María del Rosell today issued an emergency drill at your facility which consisted of a practice evacuation of a possible fire, the staff working in the building of the hospital stores.
The exercise, which started at 9:30 am, has developed smoothly and lasted about half an hour.
This planned activity has not required the intervention of the Security Forces as firefighters or police, among others, who had been previously informed of the drill, being an internal exercise, in which workers do not go abroad the hospital grounds.
The drill, coordinated and supervised by the Occupational Health Unit of the Hospital, is included in the measures undertaken to update and implement the Plan for Self Universitario del Rosell Hospital, which is reviewed annually, and it is essential that all staff center has a basic knowledge to act before a possible internal emergency.
For this reason, and also within the Action Plan, all staff at the hospital for several days have received general training and specific action depending on the group in which each person has joined, on potential emergencies that can to the Hospital and patterns of action to follow.
