The City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and the Directorate General of Immigration and Volunteerism, organized through the Municipal Volunteer Program, a course of Basic Training Volunteer to be held on 3 and 4 November in the auditorium of the School of Agronomy.
The course, which will run daily between 17 and 20 hours, is aimed at people who are interested in going to voluntary action in various fields.
Its theme is composed by three modules:
Module I Introduction to the Voluntary consist of two parts:
1 º Volunteering
2 º Methodology for voluntary action
Module II Volunteering in Care of vulnerable groups, consisting of tables provide information from different fields of volunteering among pupils.
Module III will take place later, after finishing the modules I and II of the course.
To do this will be scheduled with each of the attendees joining one or more voluntary organizations, in order to know in situ the voluntary actions that are performed in different entities.
The minimum time that must be in one or more entities, at its choice, is ten hours.
Students at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena can get a free credit report showing a configuration of the course in Student Services and University Extension, before December 1, 2009.
