The Delegation of the Government in Murcia has reported that yesterday afternoon the Integrated External Surveillance (SIVE) found a boat about 5 miles from the coast towards Portman (Cartagena).
After interception device is activated, a Civil Guard patrol confirmed its approach to the Mount of the Ashes in a steep area with difficult access, where they were rescued seven immigrants.
All of them are men of Algerian nationality, of which two may be underage, and had good health.
Were transferred to the Port of Cartagena, where they received humanitarian assistance, available later from the National Police for identification and initiation of the process of returning to their country of origin, in the case of adults, and their transfer to Juvenile Services of the Autonomous Region in the minors.
