Since last Thursday, the City of Cartagena technical work to get everything ready for the 28th edition of the Cartagena Book Fair, held from 21 to 25 October and that will flood the old culture.
Have placed a total of 30 booths in the Plaza del Icue, Gates of Murcia, Molina Palace and the Palace Hall, ready to receive the literary works that are exhibited during the five days duration of the fair.
Starting tomorrow, the booksellers will have access to the stand.
They are already finished decorating the Children's Pavilion, situated in the Plaza del Icue.
Entitled 'We're going on tour', the flag looks forward to welcoming a large number of children, where games will enjoy literary workshops, storytelling, puppets or colagraf in a space divided into different areas, set in the aesthetics of a book at the site of destination.
As for the changes, the workshop 'Let me read' will take place eventually Carmen Street, between number 24 and 25, and not the local old Marvimundo, in the same street, which was initially be expected.
Due to space, some booths change of place, like the Press and Communication moves from number 12 to 15, and the Mandarache which stands at 24, not 8 as originally planned.
The writer Angela Vallvey will herald of this issue, in an act will be accompanied by the mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro.
The proclamation will be held on Wednesday, October 21, at 20.00 pm in the Palace Hall.
The schedule of the fair will be from Wednesday to Friday from 10.00 hours to 14.00 hours and 17.00 hours to 21.00 hours on Saturday from 10.00 hours to 14.30 hours and 17.00 hours to 21.30 hours and Sunday will be uninterrupted from 11.00 hours to 21.00 hours.
