The classes of first, second and third year are held Monday through Thursday while the Permanent Classroom seminars are held on Thursdays.

Training at the University of Elders is composed of the matters of the profile of science and technology, as well as cutting humanistic subjects.

Thus, in the curriculum subjects like math appear in everyday use, graphic expression, information, technology, banking practices, health biology or geology, as well as literature, history, English and French culture and psychology among others.

For this course, 50 students are enrolled in each of the three courses that make up the curriculum.

Students in this program receive theoretical training and practice.

"They come to our laboratories for placements as seen through a microscope, learn to surf the Internet and even create a blog," said the rector Francisco Martinez.

After completing the three courses that make up the curriculum of the University of majors, students can continue their training in the Continuing Education Classroom.

They are taught four seminars throughout the course, which this year will be dedicated to Health, Archaeology, Media and Culture in Cartagena.

This year 140 students are enrolled in each of the four seminars.

Student Service sources say that this year 43 students have enrolled in the Gardens of Leisure.

Already last year the Senior Citizens University launched a new line of action, the supervised works, supplementing the training of students in the three regulated courses, seminars and Continuing Education Classroom.

In this mode has enrolled 19 students.

Students who attend will receive supervised works 30-hour training class and then have 90 hours to perform basic research related to science and technology.
