Until 5 October, the schools of the municipality and district of Cartagena may apply for the activities in the classroom teaching of the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Cartagena 'Enrique Escudero de Castro', through the new website: www.museoarqueologicocartagena.es .
The activities planned for this year include two new features: Guided tours with educational activity for exhibition Faces of Roma and educational workshop Life in a Roman city.
These, and accompany the traditional visits to the permanent collection and epigraphy workshop Petrae Vox.
The centers will visit the exhibition Faces of Roma participate in an educational game and a complete worksheets related to the portrait of ancient Rome.
The educational workshop, Life in a Roman city focuses on life in the city, its occupants and activities it carried out: public and private buildings, offices, entertainment, etc., Introduced through games, audiovisuals and demo of a Roman city.
For teachers is scheduled didactic course in the Municipal Archaeological Museum: Roman funerary world, 10 hours.
It comprises of the theatrical performance of a Roman funeral, October 31 to 21 hours and four lectures every Tuesday from November to the 20 hours, which will tour various aspects of funerary rites in ancient Rome, custom, literary texts, sculpture, tombs and inscriptions.
This course is requested through the District of Cartagena and CPR.
For the first time, schools seek educational activities through the Web page by a simple process and receive confirmation by e-mail activity.
