Firehouse troops proceeded in Cartagena last night to extinguish a fire that had occurred in one of the piles of garbage that housed the Waste Treatment Plant in El Gorguel, without having had that unfortunate injury.

Being the seat of the fire isolated, there was no risk of spreading it, thus burying all garbage and reduced fire load of Class A (solids fire with coals) using water and moisturizing agents .

The notice was received by the Fire Station at 23.49 hours, the intervention lasted only 55 minutes, with the performance of two fire fighting vehicles and six officers.

In addition, also counted with the collaboration of two policemen, two local police officers and staff of the plant.
