Pilar Barreiro Mayor today signed a new cooperation agreement with the Association of Victims of Terrorism (AVT), in the person of its president, Juan Antonio García Casquero, agreement with the City Council remains committed to work, as as possible and taking into account the current time of crisis, the activities developed by this group.
The amount of the agreement, the third signed by both institutions is 9,000 euros, which is assigned to projects of direct service to victims and their families, conferences and aid associations.
Both the mayor and the president of AVT have agreed about the sculpture Zulo reflecting the awareness of the city with the victims of terrorism, an involvement that encompasses both moral and material support.
In this sense, Pilar Barreiro has expressed its satisfaction with the great reception that the monument has been so by the Cartagena and visitors, to the point very quickly become an indispensable and identification of the city.
