Poetry stars today The Sea Lyrics (21/07/2009)

The programming of the festival La Mar de Músicas, within its own section La Mar de Letras, has prepared a schedule for today covering morning, afternoon and evening and focuses on poetry under the title Diwan Hispano-Moroccan, presented by Councillor Culture, Rosario Montero, who has emphasized the importance of the diwan word and one of its meanings: A collection of poetry.

Together with the Councillor, two of the protagonists of the day, and Khalid Aicha Bassry Raissouni, has been in the presentation of the Hispano-Moroccan Diwan defined as a meeting point between two shores, the fusion between the poetry of Spain and the Morocco, which marks the beginning of modernity.

The Spanish-Moroccan Diwan meets the most distinctive and poetic voices emerged in 1996 when Morocco was created in the House of Poetry, chaired by Mohammed Bennis, as a meeting and exchange of experiences among poets of different generations.
