The Mayor, on behalf of the Municipal Corporation has sent its condolences to the family of former councilmen and officials on leave the City of Cartagena, Pedro José Martínez Vidal, who died Monday after a long illness.

José Pedro Martínez, born in Valencia in 1947, took office as councilor of the Democratic Centre Union in April 1982, replacing Angel García Fernández, during the term of Enrique Escudero, a position he held until May 1983.

The funeral will take place this evening at the Funeral of Saint Lucia to 19 hours.
