Cartagena dancer José Carlos Martinez, star of classical dance worldwide, choreographer and ballet dancer of the Paris Opera, will star on 20 July a special gala to be held under the Torres Park, accompanied by dancers of that ballet.
The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, will be responsible for publicizing the details of this gala at a press conference to be held on Tuesday, July 7 at 12.00 am in Conference Room of the Town Hall reception.
Born in Cartagena in 1969, José Carlos Martínez is credited with countless awards including the prestigious Gold Medal of the International Dance Competition in Varna, the National Dance Award in Spain and France have distinguished him as a Knight and Officer Arts and Letters.
