Team B belonging to the Home for the Elderly Cartagena III took first place in the final of the First Municipal Petanque Championship, which took place yesterday in the course of the day living of seniors in Los Urrutias.
The second place won the Senior Club of José María Lapuerta, followed by Team Home Cartagena VI, and the fourth for the club's B team Over Vista Alegre.
The councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderón Rodríguez, was commissioned to deliver the bocce trophy to the winning teams and dance competition awards.
In this section, the first prize went to the couple's Club Senior representatives of alum, followed by the Senior Club del Barrio Peral, San Ginés and the Residencia Virgen del Mar.
These delivery ceremony was held Monday in the living organized by the Municipal Institute of Social Services, through the program over the City of Cartagena, on the occasion of the closing of the major activities for this year and attended by over 1,200 members of the 42 clubs in Cartagena and the municipality.
