The Governing Council has authorized the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Public Works and Planning and the City of Cartagena for the construction of a gazebo in the Plaza Cavanna and the adequacy of sidewalks, gardens and bike path near the Gran Vía de La Manga del Mar Menor.

The work, which has a grant of 300,506 euros by the Department involves implementation of a new roundabout with an outer diameter of 36 meters and two turn lanes from four meters.

It is also planned reconstruction of the bike lane, wider sidewalks, replanting of green area and the row of palm trees, and actions to give continuity to the median in the area affected by the Gran Via
