María José Puerto, Cartagenera of the Year 2008 (01/06/2009)

Today the center serves over 100 students, aged between 3 and 21 years of age with special educational needs related to mental disabilities, multiple disabilities or severe personality problems and autism.

Pilar Barreiro The mayor has been in contact with the winner to inform the award, which has deeply grateful, but since it was out of Cartagena, it was impossible to go to the Palace Hall, as is traditional in such cases.

José María Porto is the second woman to get this award, reserved in 36 of the 38 previous editions males.

The former was Florentina Moreno, president of the folk group La Palma City of Cartagena in 2001.
