The works of Plan E reach Juan Fernandez on Wednesday (26/05/2009)

E Work Plan will achieve from Wednesday, May 27, at Calle Juan Fernandez, which will be undertaken in the next six months his development, with a budget of around 2.3 million euros.

Its implementation will take place in tranches to avoid major inconvenience to the public.

The first installment will be from Queen Victoria Avenue and Trafalgar Street, and will be closed to traffic in both directions, although the vehicles driving through the streets Alfonso X El Sabio and Asdrubal will cross it, while not reaching the works these two crosses.

The parking will also be banned in all the affected section and the bus lines 1 and 2, whose itinerary takes him, will be forwarded by Bruna Angel Street.

The two existing stops, the Park and Los Juncos Ferronaval next to be moved respectively Bruna Angel Street, opposite the Guardia Civil, and Jorge Juan against local residents' association.

According to informed sources the technical direction of this work, the traffic court is due to the need to renew the sewer that runs through the middle of the road.

The remodeling will be done in three phases: the first in this stretch, with two slits at the ends of work, which will gather in the street Alfonso X the Wise.

As time progress will be cut crossings Alfonso X El Sabio and Hasdrubal.

The second phase will take place in the stretch that runs from Trafalgar Jorge Juan, and the latest and the greatest impact on traffic, will be bounded by the Paseo de Alfonso XIII and Queen Victoria, whose execution is to be made to coincide with the months less active as July and August.

It will be recalled on Monday, also kicked off within the E Plan projects, the renovation of services, renovation and paving of the Avenue de Murcia, closing to traffic on two lanes of the same lines that lead from Round City Union Street Angel Bruna.

The other two lanes of the avenue have been set up temporarily as two-way, with appropriate signage, and wherever possible, be kept open crossings with Round Ferrol and Calle Ribera de San Javier, which is only close to the crossing time thereof by the service lines.

The budget for this work is around 1.6 million euros.
