The director general of Family and Children of the Social Policy Consejeía, Laura Muñoz, accompanied by the Security council and Social Services, Javier Herrero, Antonio Calderon, Cartagena today opened a conference on Child Abuse, to members of the security and police forces, involving 70 local police.
The course takes place in the park will continue, on the road from La Union, in three days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, to facilitate the participation of more actors.
Its objective is the training of professionals and law enforcement bodies for the detection and intervention in cases of child abuse, through a notarized system that collects all the notifications, including suspicion, covering all areas: education, medical and police .
For the director general of Family and Children, the local police work is very important to report situations of children, their parents, within the family, not report, and that can lead to child abuse.
