University Enterprises Foundation celebrates with UPCT the ninth edition of University Employment Forum (25/04/2009)

Bringing together companies in the region with students and graduates is the main objective of the University Employment Forum organized every year by the University Foundation and UPCT Company.

Students will have the opportunity to establish direct contact with Human Resources managers from some of the major companies and submit their resumes.

On Tuesday, leading companies will present their stands located outside the campus of Alfonso XIII, to attend and receive resumes from students.

The day also provided for other activities such as lectures and conferences in which experts will try to bring students the current job market, and profiles and skills most in demand by companies.

In parallel, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena II organizes the Employment Week, which runs through April 29 at the campus of Alfonso XIII and the Wall of the Sea it are provided various activities such as presentations, roundtables and conferences with the objective to expand the possibilities for job placement of students.

The rector Félix Faure has highlighted the important role of the University-Enterprise in bringing the business world to academia, noting that "the career is a clear expression of this approach, since direct contact between students and business is the best letter in the search for employment. "
