Within the workshops to be done in the upcoming 2009 edition of festival of young talents Much More May, the Municipal School of Theatre has hosted the course 'Sensory Theatre', an ambitious project that will live and experience a world of sensations.
The first step in participating in this course is to enroll in the Youth Resource Centre of the Department of Youth (Paseo Alfonso XIII, 53), from 9 to 14 and 17 to 20 hours, phone 968 128 862 and in the mail: muchomasmayo@ayto-cartagena.es
The Sensory Theater Workshop about creating a play space, thoughtful and deepening intimate theatrical language which connects to the memory of the student body.
It will propose a framework for addressing theatrical poetic stories from the senses.
Darkness will work as a dramatist, discovering that in this type of theatrical language 'less is more. "
Will start a search sensory theater collective, open to all proposals.
The workshop is taught by Miguel Angel Montilla Domene, part of the Theater of the Senses.
Participation youths between 16 and 35 years with willingness and openness to the body and sensory work.
No previous experience is required and students should bring comfortable clothes.
The time period is 25 and will be allocated in order of registration.
The registration fee is 10 euros.
The course will take place on 8, 9 and 10 May at the following times:
Day 8: From 16.00 hours to 20.00 hours.
Day 9: From 10.30 hours to 13.30 hours and 16.00 hours to 20.00 hours.
Day 10: From 10.30 hours to 13.30 hours and 16.00 hours to 18.00 hours.
The place of delivery will be the hall of the Municipal School of Theatre (corner Calle Lope de Rueda Carlos III).
In addition, during the days 15, 16 and 17 May will take place, the practical realization 'The journey of the senses', within the Festival Much More May 2009.
