Orange alert for strong winds of up to 90 kilometers (05/03/2009)

Municipal Service of Civil Protection reported that the municipality of Cartagena, like the rest of the region, is on orange alert, to the provisions of the State Meteorological Agency by strong winds between 9 am and the three pm on Friday.

Forecasts indicate that they can register gusts up to 90 kilometers per hour, with a probability of between 10 and 40 percent.

In this sense, the municipal service recalled the usual advice to be followed before this kind of bad like:

If you can not leave his house.

Close doors and windows, mainly to the outside, leaving open one on the opposite side to avoid the pressure that arises.

Store or secure all outdoor objects that could be drawn, (tarpaulins, pots, etc.).

Not protected with fences, trees, to avoid the danger of landslides and falling.
