Youth launches website Shares Floor (27/02/2009)

The councilman of Youth, Javier Herrero, today introduced one of the latest initiatives have been launched in the area that is responsible, the project shares a flat, a Web service jointly run by the Informajoven and the Youth Space and directed to young people between 18 and 35, students or workers, who see this type of accommodation a form of independent power sharing expenses and saving costs.

Through this service, which now begins to work, you can get complete information about accommodation and people with which they share (likes, hobbies, occupation ...), in order to support the suitability of the tenants.

In the words of Javier Herrero, is helping facilitate the coexistence of bringing together people with an affinity or share the same interests.

Share Flat in has been included in a section with 'Bag for rent' in which displays any available apartments, although the contact with the owners will be made through Housing Area Youth Space who will ensure that you meet all legal requirements by both parties.

They will also be available to all users for free legal services of the Youth Space for questions and advise on any matter relating to housing.

It is therefore a Web Service with two different sections: rental housing stock (only offers information, contacts through Area Housing) and Exchange shared apartments (complete access via on-line offers and demands).

SITUATION ANALYSIS

Within the Youth Space data throughout 2008, the busiest areas of housing have been the first, and employment, in the second.

The interest shown by these two areas may show a desire for independence from the family of origin, as both are essential determinants of emancipation.
