The forest interior, a trip to nature and the wisdom of the forest (12/02/2009)

Cartagena is the first city in the region of Murcia in hosting the traveling exhibition "The forest interior ', Social Work by the CAM, which this morning was opened by Council of Education, Josefa Maroto, and Environment, Isaiah Camarzana accompanied by Adolfo Garcia Celdran, Area Director of CAM in Cartagena, Jose Pablo Brotóns Barcón, Manager of Social Work of the Territorial Directorate in Murcia and Octavio Vicente Velasco, Manager of Environment.

'The forest interior' seeks to reconcile man with nature and specifically to forests.

Through an imaginary journey, visitors can enter the world of forests through participation, imagination and sensory perceptions: hearing, smell, sight ...

In addition, the exhibition is a story, a journey inside yourself in three different parts: The Enigma, The Protagonist and Enter.

In The Enigma is discovered that there was a time when a strange disease spread across the planet and the discovery of an ancient manuscript attributed to a browser gives clues about this enigmatic disease.

'The Protagonist' is the visitor, and in this part of the exhibition tells the story of the explorer who has an adventure inside a forest, where the antidote.

This part shows that the forest guards a secret, treasured over millions of years, who are willing to share.

In the end, no choice but to 'Login', enter each of the nine woods and left excite the senses.

A ranger accompanies visitors throughout the exhibition, explained the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto.

The Department of Education has arranged tours to schools.

Only this morning, was scheduled to visit ten schools with an attendance of about 1,120 students.

The school visits are from 9 to 13 hours, and the general public, from 17 to 21 hours, Monday through Friday.

The exhibition 'The Interior Forest' is one of the three samples included in the Natura CAM program.

Will be at the cultural center Ramón Alonso Luzzy until 9 March, and then travel to Jumilla.
