Two-art simulators improve training of students of the IES Bastarreche (28/01/2009)

Only 12 schools in Spain teach the Training Course for Fisheries and Maritime Transportation

The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, today visited the Secondary School 'Admiral Bastarreche' to discover the two art simulators that the Ministry has purchased for the students of Vocational Training Course for Fisheries and Maritime Transportation, and allow "a more real with the environment where they work," said Sotoca.

For its part, the communications simulator includes, among other options, a monitoring module console that allows the simulation of air communications equipment to coordinate rescue operations.

The Department has invested over 185,000 euros in the acquisition of these two simulators that are already part of the teachings of the 30 students are currently enrolled in the cycle of 'Fisheries and Maritime Transport', but soon, "said the director- "will also become a catalyst for the formation of students from other regions and provinces adjacent to ours, mainly from the Mediterranean."

Quality teaching
