Mayor Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by the municipal corporation, has presided over the act of solidarity that has taken place at midday at the gates of the Town Hall, showing strongly that this county is against murder, extortion and blackmail has plunged the Basque people in particular and the Spanish people in general.

As stated by the mayor, the murder of Ignacio Uria is one more attack on democracy, an act to which the municipalities that are governed by the political arm of ETA should disband and take responsibility.

To finish the event, Pilar Barreiro wanted to move all the support, love and sympathy to the family of the employer and all the Basque people and has asked the Spanish drive to end terrorist attacks.
