The Youth Council has today published the list of accepted and rejected at Erasmus Aid 2008, a total of 50 scholarships, which are listed in alphabetical order, the applicants enter the bases of such aid and the excluded and the reason for the exclusion.
The list will be published in the Bulletin Board Municipal Council's website and Youth Space boards (Paseo Alfonso XIII, 51, phone 968 64 December 1988), so that from today, setting a deadline of ten working days (not including Sundays and public holidays) for correction of errors.
After this time the final list will be published and, if there are more applicants than scholarships, will be arranged according to the criteria established in the terms, choosing the top fifty by a grant of 350 euros.
This is the second consecutive year that the City handles aid, after the Local Government Committee passed last May, the continuation of aid to Cartagena students participating in the Erasmus program for study abroad.
The Erasmus program is a management plan various public administrations, including local councils and in the case of Cartagena, which supports and facilitates the academic mobility of students and academics within the Member States of the European Union and the three countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) the European Economic Area and Switzerland and Turkey.
The prerequisites for students to participate in the Erasmus program are to be enrolled in a degree program or higher level and have completed their first year of training.
