The deputy mayor of Cartagena and Murcia of DB, Pilar Barreiro, Vitoria participate this afternoon in a panel discussion on local funding organized within the Union XIII Intermunicipal People's Party to be held in Vitoria.

The committee is coordinated by the Mayor of Madrid, Alberto Ruiz Gallardon and besides Barreiro, will involve the people in the senate spokesman, Pio Garcia Escudero, the government spokesman of the Congress of Deputies, Rafael Merino, and mayor of Ciudad Real and Chaldean Ponte, Rosa Romero and Perfecto Rodriguez.

At the convention, which will be closed tomorrow by President Mariano Rajoy, will address issues such as the role of municipalities in the development of social policies and missed opportunities with the general state budget submitted by the Socialist government.
