Social Care Councilman of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon has launched a new partnership to support and research on personality disorders, TP Cartagena MM.
The event took place at Centro Cultural de Caja Murcia Pedreño House.
Next to the council were the president of the association, María del Carmen Gutiérrez de Uriarte, the Hospital psychiatrist Román Alberca de Murcia, Pedro Alfonso Diaz Rosillo, which dealt with the issue Trastono Personality and Slamerón Victoria Sanchez, psychologist who specializes in psychology clinical professor in the department of Personality UNED.
About 2 percent of the population suffers some form of personality disorder.
It is estimated that in the Cartagena area there are about 7,600 affected by this illness.
The aims of the association are to assist and support those affected, the company disclose the importance of the condition and inform patients and their families to existing resources.
The association is composed mainly of relatives of patients.
