The Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, through the People's University, presents for this year 2008/2009 as a novelty in its course offerings and a new recreational area called Health and Welfare.
This area will focus, as its name suggests, on those issues related to physical and mental health.
Among others, the UP has been scheduled in addition to their self-esteem workshop, grounded for five years, workshops Care Fitness and Memory, workshops Personal and Social Development, Social Skills and Self-Knowledge, Laughter Therapy and Resolution Workshop conflict for couples.
It is also launching the project 'Healthy Chicks' in collaboration with the Primary Care Management of Cartagena through the Health Center of San Antonio.
Another novelty is a workshop on 'Being a parent of children under 5 years' work in which pedagogical and practical issues of health.
