The deputy spokesman of the government team, José Vicente Albaladejo, announced after the meeting of the board of governors held today, given the serious economic situation facing the country, the City Council frozen soils and senior members corporation, this action will not affect the staff.
According to José Vicente Albaladejo, this is a proposal that was on the agenda, the mayor has done, Pilar Barreiro, the government team, conveying the need to establish the lines of a plan of austerity in public spending, an issue that already been defined in a meeting of mayors held last July.
In this sense, Albaladejo has announced that next week there will be a special governing body to establish guidelines to follow, which is expected to revolve around the limitation on personal expenses, with the announced freezing the salaries of senior officials, reducing operating costs, energy saving plans and budget control of expenditures, among other measures.
