A successful participation in the workshops I created Graph in Cartagena (29/08/2008)

The courses have been organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena and gallery-based editor Madrid Ediciones ZMB-Bartlett School of Architecture, in collaboration with People's University of Cartagena and the support and direct participation Murciano Graphic Arts Center and Contemporary Print ('garden', Caravaca).

These courses / workshops Creating Graphical Cartagena involving a total of 30 artists, teachers and students mostly students from all over Spain, and five of them, in Cartagena.

In addition, places to participate in these courses were sold out a month before the start, having enabled the waiting list.

Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, said that one of the keys to successful participation in these courses has been the prestige of teachers who have taught.

For its part, the head of Editions Bartlett School of Architecture, Luis González-Adalid, has indicated that these courses and workshops are a necessary complement to the regular program of exhibitions and the promotion of local artists.

It is from here, the workshops, where it facilitates, promotes and encourages the artistic development, he said.

Narciso Echevarría, which today completes its lithography workshop, highlighted the large number of works produced during these days, many of them of great quality.

Some of the artworks that have been made in these courses / workshops will be for the collection of the City of Cartagena.
