Local Police officers stopped in Cartagena on Tuesday evening two people involved in thefts committed in several different establishments in the area of Murcia and Gate Street.

One of those involved, Isabel A.

M 41, of Spanish nationality, was located by agents as he prepared to leave the interior of one of the shops, having being seized large quantity of clothing, cologne and other objects.

The other involved, Antonio G.

L 41, a native of La Union, was arrested by two plainclothes officers who identified him as he walked to the bus stop.

In the intervention were recovered various items and sunglasses.

Both individuals were arrested and taken to National Police units.
