INFORMATION ON THE ANTHOLOGY OF CONTEMPORARY FRENCH POETRY

Among the many valuable voices of contemporary French poetry, Lionel Ray has selected seventeen poets (though many have been able to keep them company.)

Each of them asks for the mysterious meaning of our presence in the world, each defined attempt to combine and the infinite, the visible and invisible, drunkenness and insight, inspiration and brilliance, randomness and the need .

In the panorama of contemporary French poetry - in the last forty years, every poet creates a world apart, a separate writing in a unique outpouring of invention.

Everyone has their way of living / being in the language and the language, and choose an instrument or as an end in itself.

We face a unique voice and representative of the rich diversity of contemporary French poetry: Jacques Dupin, 1927; Marie Claire Bancquart., 1932, Ludovic Janvier, 1934, Claude Esteban, 1935-2006;, Richard Rognet, 1941; Jean Ristat , 1943; André Velter, 1943, Esther Tellermann, 1947; Guy Goffette, 1947; Philippe Delaveau, 1950, Jean-Michel Maulpoix, 1952; Jean Portanten1952, Jean-Baptiste Para.1956, Ariane Dreyfus.1958, Olivier Barbarant.1966, Valérie Rouzeau, 1967, Linda Maria Baros, 1981.

LIONEL RAY

Lionel Ray, born in nearby country where he resides, in 1936, president of the Académie Mallarmé, has received all of his poetry poetry Goncourt Prize 1995 and the Grand Prize for poetry of the Society of Peoples of Letters in France in 2001.

Most of his books of poems are available in Gallimard.

He is also author of a book of art and of two monographs on issues Seghers, one devoted to Rimbaud and the other to Aragon.

Recent publications Editions Gallimard: Matière de nuit de l'Eloge followed éphémère (collection blanche, 2004), Comme un suivi of Syllabear defaite château de sable, dans la ré-édition collection Poésie / Gallimard, 2004, L'Invention des bibliothèques (collection blanche, 2007).

His latest book is: Le Procès de la vieille dame, Eloge of poetry (essais) in Editions de la Différence (March 2008).

MARIA LINDA BAROS

Romanian-born French poet, was born in Bucharest in 1981.

He has published four books of poetry, two of them in editions Freancia Cheyne, theater and works of literary criticism.

His first book of poems written in French, Le livre de signes et d'ombres, received the Award for Vocation 2004.

The second, La Maison en lames of rasoir, has been awarded the Prix Apollinaire 2007.

He has translated over twenty books in French and Romanian.

Linda Maria Baros is a precursor and organizer of the festival Le Printemps des Poets, in Romania, the director of the literary magazine VS / m that appears in Bucharest and the deputy secretary of the Association of Translators of Literature Roumain (Paris).

Part of unpublished poets in Spanish selected in the anthology Lionel Ray coordinates with the sponsorship of The Sea Lyrics (Camelot, 2008).

JEAN CARRIER

Born in Luxembourg in 1950, of Italian origin.

Lives in Paris.

Writer, translator and journalist.

His work includes thirty books: selected poems, stories, plays and novels.

Has obtained the Mallarmé Prize 2003 for his book The foreign language, and the Grand Prize of the Society fall of the people of the lyrics by the set of his poetry.

Among his novels, his book The memory of the Whale (La mémoire of baleine) has been translated into German, Italian and Romanian, and is being translated into Spanish, Portuguese and English.

Be made into a film in 2009.

In June 2005, Le Castror Astral published under the title La Cendre des mosts, an anthology of his poetry written between 1989 2005.

Since October 2006 a member of the Mallarmé Academy.

In March 2007 he appeared in Castor Astral: Le travail du poumon, poems.

And in June 2008 it appears his book En réalité.

JACQUES ANCET

Born in Lyon in 1942, lives and works in Annecy (Haute Savoie).

Author of six books of prose (novels, stories) has published some twenty books of poetry among which four have been translated into Spanish: The empty room, literary translation workshop, La Laguna, Tenerife, 1996, is looking for someone, Gamoneda Amelia translation, foreword by Antonio Gamoneda, Sybil, 2002, Under the mountain, translation Rafael-José Díaz, Bartelby, 2005 and Burn, Amelia version Gamoneda, Ediciones Pen, Palencia, 2008. They are most recently published L ' heure de cendre, Opal, 2006, La ligne de Crête, Tertium éditions, 2007, Entre corps et pensée (poetry anthology): Ecrits des Forges / L'Idée Bleue, 2007, Journal de l'air, ARFU, 2008.
