As every summer, the Department of Youth has organized the program "A Summer Movie Barrios' which will run from July 7 to August 29 by various districts and councils in Cartagena.
The councilman of Youth, Javier Herrero, explained that this program, which each year has more acceptance among the public, will offer a total of 42 projections, Monday to Friday, which can be seen in parks and open spaces in neighborhoods .
In each projection the Department of Youth put 200 seats (chairs) available to the public.
Admission is free and the schedule has been thinking about all the people, attempting to combine the quality and interest of the films chosen for the character of entertainment of this type of activity, thus maintaining the tradition of summer movies.
So, with great commercial success can be enjoyed critically acclaimed films, with a reserved area, next to American cinema-a Spanish production and Europe's most recognized, taking into account also for children.
The districts chosen for the projections are Isla Plana, Barrio de la Concepción, Los Dolores Castillitos, Pozo Estrecho and José María de Lapuerta Slum in July, and New Cartagena, La Palma, Willow Park, Slum Virgen de la Caridad and The Aljorra, in August, setting aside a day for Campillo de Adentro in August and another in Playa Honda in July.
The budget for this summer program amounts to 32,000 euros.
