"The urban initiation.

Paris 1967-1970 "is a series of intimate paintings, urban and metaphysical tremendously in the search for glare and utopias.

With this series of works on display at Gallery cartagenera Bambara, by the artist Salvador Torres, is given the go-ahead to the presentations of the Sea Art section within the festival La Mar de Musicas Cartagena.

The exhibition will face intense two Parisian experience: that of a young Spanish immigrant (father of the painter), between 1967 and 1970, and the young painter (the author of works), many years later, with a high temporal contrast images, experiences and emotions in the rites of the life of a fascinating city.

The show can be from 27 June to 6 September in Bambara.

The exhibition is a series built with simultaneous color planes includes multiple locations in a single work.

The collection is created for the gallery space Bambara, each part occupying its proper place as an installation.

Salvador Torres (Cartagena, 1971) is a painter and graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Valencia and director of the Printmaking Workshop Gallery Cartagena Bambara.

He has exhibited numerous collective works among which are "Artmadrid 07", "Photographic", "The body of feeling" and "Colors of immigration" among others.

Has had solo exhibitions "The Tailor forgotten in the Hall Stables River Mills," Private Iconography ", Gallery Bambara, Fotoencuentros 06;" Football Utopian ", Gallery Bambara.

Torres also emphasized in the field of graphic art.

Both etching and silkscreen has performed numerous works with very different techniques involved in many series, some mentioned above.
