Yesterday at sea were intercepted eleven other Algerian immigrants (16/06/2008)

Eleven other immigrants of Algerian origin, were intercepted on the afternoon of yesterday, Sunday, this time they sailed into Spanish waters in a small boat, so the total number of detainees during Sunday is 37.

The operation which led to the arrest of the latter group was launched following that on the 16 pm yesterday, a coastguard helicopter communicated to the local center in Cartagena that service is the location of the boat, board which was traveling an unknown number of people.

To the point of location, which was located about 60 miles southeast of Cartagena, addressed the "Salvamar Mimosa", which by 17 hours spotted the "small boat", a vessel of about six meters equipped with a small outboard motor board, in which eleven people were traveling.

The two vessels arrived 20'40 hours on the port of Cartagena, where he was holding the "boats" used by illegal immigrants, while the latter - eleven men, seniors and in apparent good health - became available National Police Agency instructed to tell you the the appropriate files back to their country.
