An agreement with the Association of Unemployed People over 40 will review the services to the City of Cartagena from May (14/04/2008)

The Local Government has given the green light this morning the signing of the Collaboration Agreement between the City and the Association 'unemployed over 40 years' of Cartagena for the start of an inspection and monitoring of urban highways parks and municipal facilities, as well as municipal street cleaning in order to control the local government service offered to the public is right.

The city spokesman, Joaquin Mowing, stressed that this initiative is an experience that can be positive for the city of Cartagena, as the work of inspection services provided by the City Council must add the purpose of a social of this agreement , to employ people who are unemployed and aged hard to find work.

Through this agreement, the City is committed to provide about 165,000 euros from the municipal budget for 2008 for the launch of this service, which will have eight drivers and two coordinators and will be operational from May.

In order to provide better service to citizens, both parties, City and Association 'Unemployed Over 40 years, "undertake to train employees, raise the professional and cultural level, and help increase the efficiency and quality of service, for which will be held to the same specific training courses.
