Five pieces of music they choose the first prize in Pozo Estrecho pasodobles (16/04/2008)

Pasodobles Five will compete for first prize in the National Music composition pasodobles 'Villa de Pozo Estrecho', which this year celebrates its sixteenth edition and the 42 compositions that have attended from all over Spain, all of great quality.

These five pasodobles are Sarim, La Corte del Campo, Cormoran, El Castillo and grandfather, who will vie for first prize, worth 3,000 euros, the second prize, with 900 euros, the third, with 300 euros, and the fourth and fifth award, which will get a certificate of participation.

Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, this morning the final phase of this contest will be held on April 26, from 21.30 pm in the Civic Center Pozo Estrecho.

Montero has been accompanied by an organizer of the event, Ginesa Zamora, and Soledad Perez, president of the Association of Amas de Casa de Pozo Estrecho, promoter of the competition.

Ginesa Zamora pointed out that this contest is a way of enhancing the paso doble and also export to Spain all the band SAM Santa Cecilia, and Pozo Estrecho Cartagena.

In fact, the five selected for the contest pasodobles from Huelva, Madrid, Murcia, Cartagena and Galicia.

Zamora also thanked the support received this year by Pedro Soriano, Galilean and jury member.

La Banda Santa Cecilia account currently has 60 components and a children's band of 24 students, that promote the relief and maintenance of students in training.

For this purpose, a school created under the artistic and musical society in which ninety eight teachers are students.
